Everybody "green" your Icon today!

I just got a message from Tonia, who got a message from someone ( sorry, deleted the message!), that Gatherites all change their icon to something green today in honor of Earth Day. Let's turn Gather green!

This I gotta read! I love the druids - did you know there's still a Druid College somewhere in , hummm, Wales or Scotland, I think. I'm 3/4 Celtic, so I think it's in my blood!

This might sound mean, but don't you think a better way to honor earth day would be to power off your computer and spend the day outside? Work in your garden, plant a tree, pick up litter on the side of the road? Physically doing something would be more effective than merely changing your avatar!

I'm doing all but the tree-planting, James. But maybe I'll look for a tree to replace the one that was destroyed in a freak windstorn last year......
It's also a good day to connect to others on Gather who I might not have known about who share this huge love for Mother Earth.
