Amitabh Bachchan the Indian superstar has claimed that Bollywood is more creative then Hollywood, while this may be exaggragation there is no doubt that Indian films are fast catching up with their counterpart in Hollywood. Indian novelties are music and song which the western audiences find quite amusing but the fact is that the same music and song sequence have made many movies immortal. India has lots of story to tell the reason is the diversity which lies in India. Such diversity may not be visible in other cultures. Despite the diversity people live in harmony, perhaps no other country would have the kind of festivals India has. Just consider this, because of festivals alone India has around 45 National holidays, that means nearly two months Indians spend holidaying. Yet when we look at productivity India still has best production practices in the world. I guess instead of aping the western culture blindly we should stick to our own culture and usher 21st Century with new vigour.

No there is no creative ability from there, just low morals and rude behavior from the people that work in this area.
The argument would then devolve into what the hell is meant by creative and what represents Hollywood and what represents Bollywood. With funding from Reliance arriving for Bollywood (and Hollywood), one can find the beginnings of the two intertwining. However, as the vast stores of money lie with Hollywood and the industry reach of Hollywood" is greater one finds more diversity in Hollywood than is found in Bollywood, thus I would still maintain Hollywood is far more creative than Bollywood.
Oh, I, also, would concede that Hollywood must out the greater mass of crap too. The greater industry size of Hollywood maintains its status as more creative. Which one is more creative on average gets into all sorts of hard to define comparative points. (e.g. How many points does one give for creative use of shadows? )
PS Paresh, Isbadi, you made a comparison between Hollywood/Bollywood by noting that Bollywood needs to learn more.
