Hello to all,
It's here, Urban Hike Nine - yep, eight before this one - Try: Urban Art Safari -- Lion's Roar
-- Monsters in Benton Park Lake
This hike took me from one end of the downtown section of Market Street in St. Louis. Lots of things to see along that route. The people driving through miss so much. It's hard to miss Union Station, the Main Post Office and hundreds of office buildings, but there is so much more. In #9 (the Beatles would be so proud) it's Art Carved In Stone. Big chucks of stone turned into art. Coming soon Opera Faces, Holey Walls and Spurting Water.
Take a walk in your city, town, village or hamlet - in the US or abroad. Take lots of pictures, pick the best and put them on Urban Hike the World so other people can see how courageous and artistic you are. Folks are waiting.
WAR VETERANS MEMORIAL - VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS
In Honor of Vietnam Veterans.

In honor of Veterans of World Wars. Sections of the sculpture.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Lodge Monument.

These are monuments that everyone should see. They honor the men and women that gave their lives to protect our liberties. These pieces are a tiny part of sculptures that must be experienced. Beautiful sculpture that reminds us of our heroes.
Namaste, Wayne
