Suggestions

Thanks for the kind words and the heartfelt welcome backs, I appreciate it a lot.

 PSP is a passion of mine and the suggetions coming in are better than I expected.  I don't mind you writing directly to me but I accidentally deleted a bunch of stuff and some of the letters from my PSP friends were in it.  

Could you in the future post suggestions for things to do directly in to the group?  I wouldn't lose it that way.  After such a long time gone, I have literally thousands of posts to wade through and some are going to fall through the cracks even if I'm careful.  Stupid ME.

One of the suggestions we got was a 'Contest'.  I agreed and think we should do it.  There won't be a real prize -  can't afford it; but it will help showcase your various talents.  I've created a special icon graphic for the winner(s) to use and trust me, it's really nice.

Since May is just around the corner, our first contest is two-fold.

The first is to do an original design (wallpaper size at least 640 X 480) celebrating Cinquo de Mayo and anything goes.  Write a short description of your inspiration and what special techniques or tools you used.  If you do post work in any other program such as Photoshop, let us know, please.

The second is of course, Mother's Day.  Show us how much you care for mom.  No restrictions on this one, it can be anything from an icon to a billboard.  It's such a wide field that putting limits on it would be impossible.  Just let us know about post work, special techniques and tools.

I'd also like to know what specific version of Paint Shop Pro you use.  I have V9, VX and VXI but personally prefer V9.  Your results may vary.  LOL
