Last night I went to another Free Movie Screening thanks to Newsday. I had won one last week, but had to miss out due to my Mother-in-law's grave condition.
I went by myself to this one, my partner was not available last night and my girls didn't want to come.
Fracture is about a man(Anthony Hopkins) who shoots his wife- admits it, but there is no evidence found when the crime scene sweeps his house. The Asst DA- (Ryan Gosling) has a 97 % conviction rate, and is ready ffor the coporate law sector. He gets accepted with a cushy law firm, but when loses this case due to lack of evidence they fire him before he even starts. Ryan's character does not give up. There are many twists and turns.(I don't want to give too much away)
This movie was excellent, it had funny moments and thrilling ones. It is one I would have seen , even if I had to pay.
