Chinese Food...

Do you have a favorite dish or meal when you go out for Chinese? Or are you someone that likes the buffets? I find that if I want one dish of a HIGHER quality, I will go to a regular little chinese place and order that dish. We have a really good one here and their General Tso's chicken is phenomenal. However, if I am in just a general "I want chinese food" mood, we will head for a buffet. What are some of your favorite dishes? Are there any that you really don't like? I am always looking to try new things, so share with me...

My favourite chinese restaurant has a sushi bar - I rarely manage to eat much other than sushi and seafood when I go

Another restaurant that we go to - not a buffet - we order a variety of stuff - and always the chicken soo guy. It is SOOOOOOOOOOOO good!

I like the buffet. My favorite though is cashew chicken. The buffet is great though because I can eat crab rangoons like there is no tomorrow. I love them things..

I usually order from the menu. I like Shrimp Fried Rice, my husband likes Happy Family. We don't like buffets, and we especially dont like chinese buffets.

I prefer to order from a menu rather than a buffet. I like General Chicken the best, but like most anything. It is my favorite food.

Every time I go to the local Chinese restaurant, I examine the menu intensely. I enter determined to try something new, but...
I end up ordering Chicken Subgum!
I guess I just need consistancy and I really love Chicken Subgum!
(Once my daughter ordered Shrimp Gong Bo and it was very good as well, just not good enough to keep me from my Chicken Subgum!)

karen, Happy Family is a combo dish with beef, pork, chicken, and scallops and sauteed veggies. I have seen it with shrimp and/or lobster added too.

ohhh, I am eating leftover chinese from last night as I am writing this and it is Hot and spicy shrimp which is SOOO yummy.
