Recently, Boston oldies station WODS-FM (103.3) announced their 2007 Free Summer Concert Series. This coming summer marks 20 years of free summer concerts, brought to you by Oldies 103. Originally presented on the steps of City Hall Plaza in 1987, the current venue for the outdoor concerts is at the DCR Hatch which is on the Esplanade that lies besides the Charles River in Boston.
Here are the artists scheduled to appear at the Free Summer Concert Series for 2007:
- June 16 - Frankie Valli
- June 23 - Johnny Rivers
- July 14 - The Grassroots featuring Rob Grill and The Beaver Brown Band
- July 28 - The 70s Soul Explosion with The Stylistics, The Chi-Lites, & Harold Melvin's Blue Notes
- August 11 - The Beach Boys
All shows start at 7 p.m. rain or shine.
