She is in peace now

It is with the heaviest heart that I write this, today a wonderful woman passed away. I had technically known her since I was 14. Our families knew each other for years. Some women can't stand their mother in law...I loved mine.

She had suffered for many years with various illnesses. She beat cancer 20 years ago, then she had kidney trouble. Marjorie was a fighter, she had the fighting Irish in her. She was a wonderful mother, a wonderful wife and a beautiful person.

I know that she with God now, and he has taken away her pain.

 Mom, I love very much.

 Rest in peace Marjorie

I love my MIL as well. I know it will be tough, I lost both my mom and my dad over the last 3 years...it is hard but she is at peace.

Keep your head up and be brave and remember all of the good times. Dont be afraid to greive and cry when you need to....it is good.
I have breakdowns a few times a year still.

Aww, Donna, I'm glad you had a wonderful relationship with your 'Mom'. That alone will help ease the pain. You will be able to look back on her life lovingly. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers on this very hard day.

Donna, I feel your loss. I lost my mother-in-law when she was only 60 and she too was a wonderful woman. I know your Marjorie will be missed but she will suffer no more.

You have my sympathy Donna. I lost my mother-in-law 2 years ago, this coming July 7, and she is sorely missed. My own mother wasn't a grandma to my kids and my mother-in-law was. She called every Saturday and did her "mom" thing with hubby. Sometimes, those calls would annoy him when she told him stuff he didn't want to hear and there were times she and I would butt heads about what it meant to be a good wife. But you know, he really misses those phone calls now and I miss the occasional tussles because they meant she really cared about us. When she died, she left a great void for a while. But, her presence seems to have snuck back into our lives. Things she said will pop up, she's in our dreams, and things she taught us show up in our decisions. I miss her, but now that some time has passed, she doesn't feel so lost to us. I hope you someday can feel her presence right with you again. Nothing will ever heal the hurt of the loss of such a wonderful woman, but seeing her in your lives later on, can help to make the distance between you feel not quite so great.

Any person who died but lived a life that was able to impact another human to write like you did, lived a good life. Take heart
(((((((((((((((Donna)))))))))))))) Sorry this is the only kind of huge hug I can give you, but if I were there with you, I'd for sure give you a real one. I'm so sorry for your loss. It hurts, will hurt for a long while. Then the memories, the good ones, will be what you think of. I wish there was something, anything I could do for you now.
One thing I can tell you - she was so very lucky to have had you in her life. Anyone would be.

Donna, I am so sorry to hear you lost someone who was so dear to you. I lost a friend just 2 months ago to cancer and I want to tell you that I've been in your shoes..I know how badly it hurts when you think of her and how your chest is heavy and your eyes red from the tears. But I also tell you that time will heal. Two months ago, I wouldn't have believed I could speak my friends name with breaking down but I can today. Sure, I still cry for my friend and sometimes the tears come at the oddest times, but now I can talk about him without my voice catching and I can evenlaugh at some of the memories I have of him. Life is hard Donna and it hurts to lose someone you love, but know this...for every tear you shed it is because you loved her so very much and for every tear there is a smile in heaven because God knows your love and pain and He has blessed you with memories as well as the love you will always have within your heart. He loves you Donna...so let go and let God...He will support you through this time...just reach out for Him...He is there. God bless!
