Last night started out as any other night. It was quiet and peaceful. We finished our dinner and had our coffee while discussed the day and what our plans were for tomorrow. The guys headed off to the computer room to playing Battlefield and I sat with our grandson lin front of the boob tube to watch our daily dose of cartoons.
The grandson got a little bored with the repeat of Spongebob and decided to visit with Opa in the computer room. I heard what I thought was a large truck out in the neighborhood. This didn't bother me because our neighbors have a car that sounds like a truck!
Suddenly, my husband came racing from the computer room, clearly excited over something that was going on outside. He told me that a tow truck was in front of our house. They were preparing to tow my husband's car.
This really came as no surprise to us. As most of you know, we have been robbing Peter to pay Paul. Well, I guess Peter was tired of waiting and decided to send someone for the car.
Our friend is letting my husband use his car to get back and forth to work with. So far I have been able to keep up with the payments on my car. But, if I don't find employment soon, I fear that we will one day see the repo man once again.

I am so sorry that that "mean" man came. Did he not come inside to tell you anything? He just took the car? I have never had anything repossed as of yet but it could happen to any of us. I do hope things will turn out ok.

Connie- Repo people usually do not announce themselves, it is sometimes a dangerous job when people want to fight over their things. It is best for them to just get the job done and get out most times.
Shawnee has a point about the dangers of the job.

I live in Michigan and they are working overtime taking cars and houses. People have lost their jobs and just can't go any further. And the state has rasied taxes again. We have seen a increase of Domestic Violence and people going back to lost lobs and shooting the place up. A man killed a lady and shot two others in Troy, Michigan Tuesday. He was a Accountant who had lost his job. It is the formerly wealthy that are unable to handle the pressure......
