As you know by now, each degree of a circle--all whopping 360 of them--has a Sabian Symbol, a word picture relating to human and societal evolution which is descriptive of life as process.
The ouroborous symbolizes the continuity of life, or, as The Lion King would have it, the Circle of Life, and is a snake eating its own tail, shedding its skin as a symbol of healing. The caduceus is even more descriptive of healing as the entwined snakes are lifted up as an archetype of Christ.
Our modern medical profession uses the caduceus as its official symbol although some who have experienced its sting of malpractice and neglect by arrogant legalisms may be wondering where the healing went.  A nation chocked full of amazing scientific discoveries and new methods such as DNA testing, do few people very little good if "the magic" is completely out of reach financially--as it is for the majority of Americans.
And so in my artsier moments I may render on purpose an interpretation of a Symbol...and here you see the results for "6 Leo": "An old fashioned woman and an up-to-date girl."
Following is a direct quote from the Dr. Marc Edmund Jones' version of the Sabian Symbols for "6 Leo":
Keyword: CONTRAST: Conventionality and initiative are a continual stimulus to each other.
Positive: personal achievement through a creative appreciation and adaptation of the values established by others;
Negative/Unconscious/Shadow Side: overemphasis of individualistic traits and a psychological timidity.
This degree speaks of the contribution of the past on one hand...with the promise of the future on the other. There is more info about this Symbol to be had and books of the Symbols may be found at: http://www.amazon.com if you wish.
