My street name now isn't so interesting but growing up all the streets in my section of town were all names after trees. As a child I was quite amused by that. As an adult not so much! LOL

now, Mountain View Drive, and you can see some peaks! I always think it is funny when they name a street like that and it just doesn't fit. Like paradise lane in a trailer park or something like that.

My old ones:

Madonna Rd. - it was named after a big land owner Alex Madonna, not the religious figure or the singer.

Mineral Hill Road, Mineral, Wa - it was at the bottom of the hill

Tarrytown, Fullerton, Ca. - I liked this one because my great grandparents lived in Tarrytown, NY

Eastwood - I hated this one because there is a goofy insurance company called eastwood insurance that uses it to sound cool, like Clint.

Harlan Avenue -- often misspelled -- people want to add a d for some reason
Also have lived on Kathleen Avenue, Oak Avenue, Roosevelt Street, Hickory Street, Danny Kaye, Frederick -- I have had moved at least 18 times as an adult. Crazy, I know.

The name of the street that I currently live on is practically a non- name. I live on the main road on the island of Grand Manan. The road is called Route 776 .

All the streets in our subdivision are named after counties in Michigan. Our street is Kent. Short and easy to spell.

My childhood streets were Crestwood Drive and Magnolia Lane. Then I got married and lived on 49th Ave., and now, Coachwood Trail.
There's a funny game for making your *stripper name* by combining the name of your pet with the first street you lived on. Mine doesn't work so well, I'd be Pepper Crestwood, but I've heard some that are hysterical!

I seriously doubt that I'll remember them all but I live on Millbrook now. And before this address I lived on Monet, Fern, Centenary, Preston, Oak Haven & Bell. Well that's 15 years or so anyway.
