Where would you be right about now?

 I have re-traced my steps about 20x ... last had them when I got home from work Thursday evening...I know that when I came in I was carrying a bag from the dollar store and 2 cases of coolers (don't bother, Tamara) ..... and as usual I ran immediately to the washroom (never mind the comment, Tamara) ....  and then I came back out and emptied the dollar store bag, showed hubby the cool stuff I bought, emptied the bag - in which I'm almost positive the keys were at one point - then scrunched it up and stuck in under the kitchen sink - just checked that; its there, empty, of course.

Damn! Damn! Damn!  We are going to a play tonight - plan was to go and have a nice dinner before - but now hubby has to walk home from the store (with his keys, thank goodness) and by the time we get there it'll be a rush. Seems like it always ends up being a rush  when we go out!  Tickets are at the box office, so we have to get there ahead of time.

I messed it all up cuz I can't find my keys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just before you leave, you'll find them...laying right out in plain sight. Maybe you have a spirit in the house like I do and they're playing a little game of hiding what you're looking for. They'll bring them back at some point when you don't need them. (Or they're still in the ignition in the car.)

i am insulted that you would assume i would make a comment or two...LOL...umm no clue where they would be...did you put the coolers in the fridge (cus maybe you put the keys down in the fridge when you put the coolers in) or maybe they fell out of the bag when you put the bag under the sink, or maybe they are on top of the cabinet thingie near the back door or maybe they are behind your desk or in the front room in all your computer clutter or maybe they are on top of the fridge...other than that i dunno

in you couch/chair?..on the t.v?...on back of commode?...under a towel in the bathroom?...your dirty pants pocket?(check all pockets)looked where you put the stuff away?
still in the door lock?
on your bed/in floor around your bed??

Good luck in finding them, and have an enjoyable time when you go out, anyway!:)

I stole your keys because I was angry that the little voice in my head said I couldn't have another cupcake after dinner coz i'm a diet so I magically morphed into the internet and ransacked several gatherites home. More articles will appear with missing stuff. SO ..... the moral is.. GIVE THE FAT WOMAN ANOTHER CUPCAKE!!!

Still haven't found them .... definitely not in the car, or in the cooler boxes or in the door.... cleaned my desk off completely (shut up tamara) and went through all pockets, moved newspapers etc etc.

I hope you find them soon :( i used to love back in the 80's I had one of those keychains you could whistle for and they'd "answer". It was only good till the battery ran out and I don't remember if the one i had was changeable.

Beside the phone...in a shoe....overlooked in your purse,...in your cabinet where your cups/glasses are...with your phone book/note padhanging where you're supposed to hang your keys, but never do....

the funny thing is that I bought hubby one of those key finder things for Christmas cuz he's usually the one that loses them!

and yep... we went out and had a great time.... think I will write a quickie review of the play .... first got to get at least an outline done on the paper I was supposed to have written today though :(

hubby found them yesterday in a case of empty cooler bottles that he had taken into the store - it's a good thing we do the bottle return for our town or they'd be long gone!

lolol, i do this in unfamiliar supermarkets if i can't find something, i ask a young harried person who looks like they work there, "If you were a jar of vegemite where would you be?" Always gets a smile.
