Hello to all,
Yes, we've urban hiked in cities other than St. Louis. Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, CO is a colorful, lively, fun place to walk and people watch. We have never gone there that we didn't find ourselves in the middle of an event. This time it was a Chinese Festival.
Take an Urban Hike wherever you are, or travel to. Take your camera and your imagination. Tell your story and show your pictures on Urban Hike the World .

This picture deserves to be first. There are many types of entertainers, people, events and sights on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, CO and here is the best. Take a close look. This is a dog, with a cat riding his back, and a tiny white mouse riding the cat. The little girl in the picture actually petted each one in order.

Chinese Dragon Parade going down Pearl Street Mall.

Street musician entertains.

Done with our day on the Pearl Street Mall we kicked back on our hotel balcony. Our orange plastic traveling wine glasses filled with Robller Vineyard (the family business) Seyval and a view of the Flat Irons to relax us. Perfect, just perfect.

I never saw any Chinese festivals while I lived there... I don't remember seeing any Chinese restaurants even. I do remember some pretty good sushi out there though (even met the retired owner of three of the sushi joints). I really want to move back--I miss it.
Yes, the Boulder Book Store is till going strong. Floors, aisles and stacks of every kind of reading material to browse through. Too many restaurants to count. We love to sit at an outdoor table, look through our new books, and munch. Ahhh, the memories.
