sorry it seems that the Weather Folks are a bit clueless and do not use permalinks and I have a mess in my private gallery to sort out because not a link is valid....
However,
the Easter market in the Old Town Square is up and i invite you for a small tour of the sights and things available. There is live music ongoing in the bandstand by local and international groups who come to perform during the Easter week, so grab a beer and find a place to sit in any one of the nearby open restaurants with chairs outside and enjoy the warm weather.
And although the temperature still may be a bit chill, the skies have been generally blue over the last week bringing the tourists to Prague in droves so that it is nearly impossible to cross the bridge without being trampled by someone with an umbrella leading a horde of sesonal invaders.

But here on Old Town Square you can dodge elbows and international tourists to investigate the goods.
you might want to invest in some chicken eugenics with these rare red eggs

or get some that were laid by not the normal chicken.

If you've a darling somewhere then you might want to remind them that they are something sweet wth a hunking piece of gingerbread that says it all:

If you want a more liesurely look about the inner town without having to elbow your way through the crowds, then a ride in a fiaker is definietly in order. There's a line up on the Square offering their services and you can make choices from very handsome cabs and horses.

Needless to say, there's always beer and sweets in Prague, so all you need to do is stroll over to a booth for a bit more refreshment before you leave the square.

The Old town Square is the major meeting place and the site where Czech congregate to watch the Big Screen for the Olympics and the World Hockey Championships and so if I don't see you there during Easter, there's always another chance coming up on the 27 April when the World Hockey Cup begins in Moscow.
So see then.
Ciao from Prague

Peace, love and lots of blessing to you for this Easter and all your days.
Here, have a bite of my Vegemite sandwich for Easter.
Mary, these pictures are gorgeous! I especially love the eggs--are those pysanky, or kimence? How long does the Easter Market go on?
" Oh, I forgot to mention that I am now the Vegemite Correspondent for Gather. I interviewed myself, agonized over whether to offer the unpaid job to me, then agonized over whether to accept it. But I thought it would be ungracious of me not to do so, and thus appointed myself."
had to laugh over this one-- great satire
