Bruno is your subject!
Bruno is his name so I would really like to keep it! Other then that any thing goes. Whose dog, where did he come from, what ever anyone can think of. Let the story unfold as we collaborate. One sentence or one paragraph, it is up to you! Once again I will let someone else start and I will join in along the way if I feel I can add to the story!

"I'm free! Look at the stupid human trying to find me. He's running all over the place. What a fool!"
No, Bruno was different. I didn't name him. That's what his only source of identification told me. He cowered in the kitchen, sure that I'd demand he head right back out the door. I simply didn't have the heart to do so.
"Okay Bruno, you can come along for the ride. Maybe you'll be good at chasing ghosts....". Bruno's ears perked up, his tongue lolled happily from his mouth and he raced me to my car.
On our way we were. As I looked over at Bruno, sitting there so well behaved, I couldn't help but feel proud as a peach to have a new companion.
Ole Bruno used to live and drive with a truck driver so sudden noises don't bother him at all !
Off we went to for a day of spelunking. We walked and walked for miles . That day we just found a few old bones. I couldn't let Bruno have any though. I didn't want him to get sick . hard to tell what kind of germs those bones had in them .
Thanks Mariana and David.. I hope you come back and help us to create a story for Bruno to be Proud of!
"Wait up boy!" I called as I carefully negotiated the scree leading into the hole. The floor sloped gradually downhill, so what looked like a hole was actually a gently sloping tunnel. My flashlight reflected off of beautiful sparkling stalagtites and stalagmites.
I could hear Bruno's paws scrabbling on the rocks ahead. I gave a short whistle and Bruno turned back to me as if to say "come on slowpoke!".
I hurried forward. I found myself looking at Bruno instead of the surrounding rocks and that was when it happened! I lost my footing and began sliding past Bruno, down, down the tunnel-- the slope quickly becoming less gentle and more dangerous!
Plunging into freezing black water, I gasped for breath, while looking up from the dark water. I had fallen five metres into an under water cave. Looking up, I noticed Bruno with a stick in his mouth, as he dived from the top without hesitation. He landed awkardly in the water beside me with what turned out to be, a huge long branch crashing beside him. He had dragged the branch from outside, and dived in with it to save me. The branch was about six metres long, and landed perfectly for me to climb up with Bruno under my arm. Sitting again at the top with my little hero Bruno, I whispered quietly," thank you my friend," and his head turned straight towards me. I think Bruno must have had something stuck in his ears, and the water washed it out, because obviously now my little dog could hear me. We both left the cave, and made our way back down the trail.
