You would see and hear protesters standing outside the White House screaming. At the same time, they are thinking that their negative comments and criticisms, and wise statements are helping. **** For every person that has a problem with the President, I feel that they themselves would lack the skills to be President. I like George W Bush. It really bothers me to read all the comments from the peanut gallery. People have the right to say what they want, and George W Bush supports their right.
I expected to be attacked by my comments, yet it went through without much of a problem. Anyway, I know that a lot of people are not happy with George W Bush.
The things that I like about the President. He never attacks people in a personal way, even though people attack him. He always stays within the boundaries of decent behavior.
Janice mentions ethics; what about all the men who have kids, and never marry the woman that who bore their children. Never take an interest in their own kids lives, or contribute to their well being. George W has a wife, has kids, they are nice family. We don't have to wonder if he is trying to molest woman as they visit the White House like in the Clinton era.
The United States got hit hard on September 11th. It was an extremely difficult time for everyone. The President has been working to keep the country safe.
Some of the criticisms are not fair. For instance the problem with the borders in Mexico. That problem has existed since the United States began.
The problems with the war in the Middle East. There are training camps in the Middle East where they train and encourage young men to grow up to kill Americans. That is the fact.
As a United States citizen we should all do our part to make the country better. Blaming the President for every problem is not making the country better.
I look at it this way. Let's say you were in a restaurant and people kept getting up during dinner to visit the cook. When they returned they made statements like, "The cook does not know what he is doing, he needs to put more garlic in the food." "The cook is stupid" "I wish they never hired that cook" As a diner you would become concerned.
All Americans are fed a daily dose of President bashing. This has been going on since day one... sometime during the 2000 campaign. Yet, the President keeps making attempts to connect with people. He never lied about the war. He never said it would be easy.
When Winston Churchill was urging America and Britain to enter WWII, he too was hated. When WWII ended, Americans worried that Russia would attack, or China would attack... yet we are still here.
Hopefully this situation in the Middle East will end soon. My hope is the country can pull together as a nation. Until that time, I don't think that attacking the President is helpful.
