1- In large skillet brown ground beef or sausage with sliced onions and drain
2- Add sauce (your choice: ragu, etc) to the browned meat
3- Using a garlic press, add 3-5 cloves of garlic.
4- Add 1/8 cup sugar
5- Add 15 oz can of diced tomatoes
6- Add half a glass of red wine (drink the other half while cooking)
7- Add 1 tbs of dried oregano.
8- stir together and simmer for 25 minutes.
And that's my secret.....
Ingredients
1-29oz Can of tomato sauce
1/2 clove Garlic
1/4 cup Diced onions
1-tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1-tbs Basil or cilantro
2 tbs Olive oil
Preparation
In large sauce pan mix all ingredientsn bring to boil rapidly, reduce heat to slow simmer keep covered. stir every minute or so to avoid sticking and to mix ingredients. simmer for 30 to 45 minutes with lid on.
Cook's Notes
for chunky style add muchroom ends and pieces and 15 oz can of diced tomatos
