I don't often do this, but it's for my niece Kristin, who is 19 and studying abroad. I've been keeping up with her blogs on Xanga about how school is going, the country, traveling, etc. and chatting more with my sister, too.
I think with the good that she has experienced over there, the growing up she's done, and how she's helped many, that it was more than worth putting this out there for them.
I thank you all very much.

Hi Roxy,
Tought I'd share a prayer request I received today from across the sea. It seems there are some issues in Lithuania with racism and predjudice. They have been reported to the school and the students who've been walking most places including from the dorms to the school now are having trasportation from the dorms to school. Kristin is so use to walking every where and going for runs by herself, I'm not sure how she'll adapt. She was in a store and had an old man follow her around and make fun of her. There have been people waiting outside the dorms for the African students, one girl was punched, and a couple of guys were chased. This effects the Asian, African, and American students.
I got distracted-----they need prayers for safety and peace of mind
Love you, Suzi
