The sun has set for you, my friend
You linger in colorful splendor across the sky
As we look to see you one last time
The blazing glory of sunset is the beauty you leave with us
Shining red yellow purple and orange
We see diamonds which were your eyes sparkle in the darkening
In your afterglow we cling to each other
Missing you
while
Not quite believing you are gone

Stay with us, live in our memories so we may speak of you with smiles and laughter as our sorrow eases.
For in our memory, you are not sick.
You are grinning ..... mugging with the likes of Billy Joel, Meatloaf and Arlo Guthrie; getting kisses from Anne and Nancy Wilson.
You're busy at the Underground, getting the sound just right. Rolling out microphone cords, bantering with Danny Longhair at the board, taking it seriously and having fun.
Your body is gone, for your spirit outgrew that shell that was holding you back.
Fly high, free bird
We shall always remember you.

RICK KRAMER, REST IN PEACE

Gretchen, Rick was all about the music. Thanks.
Richard, thanks for your comments..... it's tough for me to know if something is too emotional or sappy in the moment. Your calling this eloquent makes me know it's right for the funeral.
This is a lovely tribute, well done. The thoughts are soul filled and the writtens images are benefited greatly by the pictures you chose.
Thanks
Why did i look at this after i stopped crying?
I'm so sad i can't take it.
I Love You Sweetie, and i guess we get to see each other Thursday. I think i'll be laying down in my room till then. It's only taken forever to type this much. Not of much use past couple days............................................
YOU ARE MY VERY BEST FRIEND AND I SURE DO MISS YOU
Rick is, by the way, a casualty of our U S health care system..... or lack of such.
He had no insurance, and by the time he got on medicaid so much damage had been done.
Rick was doing better, but there was a medicine he needed that medicare would not pay for if he left the nursing home. So he came out on outings..... could have been independent, but for that medicine he needed to live. Being in the nursing home, he was always getting infections and stuff.
He had been fighting the system was beginning to win..... he was already moving his stuff to our friend's loft, when this happened.
Sigh.
Lori Honey,
I am so sorry. I love you too and miss you very much. I'll pick you up on Thursday if you like.
Smooches
Such a beautiful tribute to your friend.
I hope that one day I earn such a loving tribute.
If we remember people like this they really don't pass away as their memory goes on and on.
