Tasmanian TV
Tasmania is an island about 200km southeast of Melbourne Australia. In the southeast part of the island, there is narrow penisula that is dangled in the Tasman Sea by a thin thread of land called Eaglehawks Neck. The "Neck" is but a hundred meters wide and flanked by churning waters on both sides. Tasmania is probably most famous for its Devils, but in the 1820's, Eaglehawks Neck and the rocky Tasman penisula dangling below it, housed one of Mother England's most notorious penitentiaries - Port Arthur.
When I was there five years ago, a different group of immates had taken over Eaglehawks Neck - artists! A series of installation pieces were scattered around the penisula, and this one gives you a glimpse of Tassie entertainment. To be fair, I have included both sides of this issue.
