i luv watching movies but the movie theatre scene is not for me. its too expensive and not intimate enuff. so for me, theres nothing like curling up on the couch with a warm blanket and watching a good movie. the best times for me to enjoy a movie are from 9a - 2p (when im home alone) or after 9p (when everyones in bed). in order for me to thoroughly enjoy a movie the plot has to be credible with characters whose actions are believable. every so often i will sit thru an entire movie with a lame plot and sorry characters that leave nothing to the imagination. what helps me make it to the end? the eye candy! whether its a attractive brain with a less than average body that caters to my intellect or a delicious looking bod with half a brain, i can sit thru that movie with toes curling all the way. eye candy can fall into many categories with the top 5 being:
legendary actors with legendary looks
morgan freeman (the shawshank redemption, lucky number slevin)
sean connery (the untouchables, diamonds are forever, the hunt for red october)
robert redford (out of africa, the natural)
looks good, does well in the movies
right now im really into christian bale (equilibrium, batman returns, american psycho)
viggo mortensen (the lord of the rings trilogy, hidalgo, g i jane)
jason statham (the italian job, snatch)
terrance howard (the best man, crash, soul food)
johnny depp (finding neverland, the secret window)
hes a good actor whose looks dont attract much attention
john malkovich (being john malkovich, con air)
kevin spacey (the negotiator, the usual suspects, american beauty)
edward norton (fight club, the illusionist)
looks good but doesnt have an acting bone in his body
vin diesel (the fast and the furious, pitch black, xXx)
the rock (walking tall, the scorpion king)
john cena (the marine)
val kilmer (heat, the saint)
the actor does well and may be popular but i only appreciate them in certain roles
denzel washington (training day)
brad pitt (oceans eleven)
nicolas cage (con air)
vince vaughn (dodgeball, the wedding crashers)
tom cruise (mission impossible)

You 'may' cut Val Kilmer some slack if you saw him as Jim Morrison in The Doors...
thank you, deb! johnny depp is a really good actor whose range in characters never ceases to amaze me. his role as willy wonka was too funny!
Gregory Peck
Gary Cooper
John Barrymore
Live ones....
Johnny Depp, many moons ago, I had his 21 Jumpstreet poster on my ceiling above my bed!
Tom Cruise- but he is so darn short and weird in his personal life....
Audrey Hepburn
Claire Danes
Sandra Bullock
Renée O'Connor
Sandra Bullock has been doing a lot more dramas lately, I am looking forward to her next one, Premonition.
You are right, Clarie Danes did grow up quite nicely.
The only reason I watched Xena was because of Renee O'Conner.
barney, i hear that sandra bullock is strong in "premonition" but the plot doesnt cut it. i still want to see it. we should synchronize our watches.
hi jennifer. matthew is a cutie. i just watched him in "failure to launch" last week. i like him when he has the long hair and full beard.
as if we had to ask you, janet! but its good to see you!
