My father, Angel S Martinez, was a very generous and charitable person up until the day he died. He was always doing something for our neighbors and those persons in need in our community. One thing he always felt the need to do was help those neighbors who had lost someone in their families and for what ever reason they did not have enough for the funeral expenses.
About six months ago, one of my mother’s neighbors had a death in the family and in honor of my father; my mother reached out to them and helped them with the burial expenses. It was at that point she commented she wish we could keep my father’s charitable persona alive, I suggested we could create some form of fund or foundation in his name to help those less fortunate than us. Using my business skills and experience I have laid the foundation to the creation of the Angel’s Miracle Tree Foundation. I named it after my father and his favorite tree that miraculous bloomed on the day of his funeral, which never had before or has again to this date.
I just received all the IRS paper work needed in order to create such an entity and I’ll be submitting all the proper documents to the local county court house registering the foundation so as to be able to open an account with our bank. Hopefully we will be able to help as many people as my father did in his lifetime.
