I don't believe in "best friends" I believe in true friends. I think best friends can come and go but true friends are there to stay. My husband is my "best" friend and a friend of mine named Whitney. We have been friends since I was 10 and we moved into the house next store. Funny thing is we didn't like each other at first. My grandfather is also someone I can tell anything to and count on.So, I consider him a true friend as well.
I have written numerous articles about him. There are also images posted with him as well. I miss him so much right now while he is in Basic Training. He holds my heart as well.
I have a couple of best friends. They are Jenna, who I've known since I was 9, well you can look above to read hers lol & Luke, who I met in middle school. They are the two I trust with everything and who know the most about me, so they are my best and truest friends.
I'm not sure, I may have lost my dearest friend. She is going through some stuff and has pushed EVERYONE away. I guess being close to people is scary for her right now. I backed off because it was the right thing to do. But if she called I would be there for her in a heartbeat. I pray she works through this and let's the world in again. Jenn was my nearest and dearest friend followed by her husband, who is a really great guy.
This is a hard one....although I don't have many friends....those that I have are real keepers....Nick, my room-mate from college (64-68), Thiebes and Harry, my room-mates from the Mission in '68, Mark and Peg from the commune years, and then a few friends in our community.
