Welcome To the Writer's group for Men's EMO Lit :-)

Hey folks, welcome to the start of a very good thing; a writer's resource for Men’s EMO writers on Gather.

To be fun, we've called it "Manly Chick Lit".......gotta laugh, or we'll cry, eh? ;-)

After reading hundreds of First Chapter Submissions, and the associated comments, it became apparent that there needed to be Writers groups(s) for folks to submit and read each other's Manly Chick Lit without the bias of those who aren't into the 'Genre.'

Like Science Fiction, noir, and Fantasy, Manly Chick Lit is an often-misunderstood area of literature. Which is kind of funny, when you consider the number of  highly creative authors who have gotten rich writing it....and the millions of people who read it!  Men, and women alike.   Men to figure out women; and women, to figure out what they are telling the men about their secrets ;-)

Blindside, is what we could call the literary critic's stereotypical dim view of a body of wonderful literature that has made us all a lot better at our relationships, saved untold marriages, and hopefully created a multitude of "intimate moments" :-)

Anyway, as the FirstChapters contest winds up, feel free to post your first, second, third or whatever chapters here for feedback from like minded writers. 

One caveat:  No bad manners will be allowed.  This is a self 'policed' group....no one in charge.  But, if people get out of line, they will be removed from the group.  As will offensive pieces that relate to the demeaning or degradation of anyone. This isn't a "playa's ball" either.  So bring your hoes if you want, but leave your abuse behind.......Nobody is anybody's "Bitch"here..... 

While we joke around, love sex, are hot for sensuality, (and are manly men), this is for sincere folks.  All else, can exit stage left gracefully, or be ejected  (hint: that isn't the same as 'premature ejaculation' for the Cro-Magnons s amongst us ;-)

Soooooo, lets have some love, sex, romance, flowers, kittens, puppies, and all thats nice and fuzzy.....and gets you laid......And, ummmm, 'closer in a meaningful relationship with a woman'  :-)

Go for it Dudes......Let your inner EMO metro-sexual  out to play.....

And, Ladies......you are more than welcome to read, critique, contribute, and get as involved as you want.  Although I warn you now, these are some sexy men....strong, virile, handsome (mostly;-), and EMO!  Who could ask for more?  (well, reasonably self sufficient financially would be nice too.....But, if he's hot enuf, pool boiz are acceptable too ;-)
