Here is the deal. My husband and I went to Walmart last night (actually about 1am this morining) to get a thing of Rolaids. My husband had his gun in his holster ( the saftey was on the gun and velcrowed in the holster), that was on his belt buckle.
We got halfway down the center of the store and a male and female employee started yelling really loudly. We turned around and walked back to the employees who were yelling at us. They were screaming and saying rude things to us, all the while telling us that unless my husband was a police officeer he could not have the gun with him.
My husband and I explained to them that it is registered and he does have a permit for it, but that didn't seem to satisfy them. We then said to her that there were no signs or anything warning us that you couldn't carry a weapon into the store. The other thing about this is that when we came in there were two employees standing by the doors greeting people and they saw the gun, but din't inform us that we couldn' t enter the store with one.
We have been customers at Walmart as long as I can remember and when we told them that they would be loosing our business, she said that us as customers didn't matter. The whole time she was telling us weren't welcome in the store. I also told her that CVS, Food Lion, and numerous other stores have allowed us in with no problems.
I just couldn't believe how rude and hateful both of these employees were.

Do people that have to pack "heat" used to suck their thumbs?????
We agree on many things.
Not this one .
Agree to disagree???
I'm sorry they were so rude with you, there isn't ever a reason for that.
I would find out what Walmart corporate has to say about it.
