THE RULES: Each player of this game starts with the 6 weird things about him/herself. I may have been tagged by a few others....not sure. Jackie tagged me back on the first day of this game. I didn't think I would play at first. Too busy and in a bit of a funk...I thought I could get away with hiding, and no one would notice if I didn't play. But noooooooooooo.....I just keep getting tagged. LOL Others that tagged me after Jackie were....Jimmy, Genevieve, Jessica, Iris and today I was tagged by Erin.
I've decided that I like this little game. I've learned a lot about my connections from reading their game articles so, I AM going to do one. :o)
Here are 6 strange/weird/odd things about me:
1-In real life, when I first meet someone, I'm painfully shy. All my internet friends find this hard to believe but it's true. I promise. Even though I'm painfully shy in person, I still manage to make and maintain a lot of close relationships. The people I'm most attracted to are ....NOT shy. That doesn't mean all my friends are loud. I have a well mixed, really cool variety of friends, but the majority of them are not shy.
2-I like to 'go with the flow'...mix in and be apart of the group. I don't like the spotlight on me, BUT for some strange reason....I get put in (talked into) the leader role... about 90% of the time.
3-I love to work in my yard. I don't mean just play with flowers. I really enjoy all outdoor tasks that my yard is in need of. (mow, plant maintenance... prune, plant, feed, water......everything) I don't mind sweating...it actually makes me feel good. Of course the follow-up shower is a necessity and feels great too. ;o)
4-I hate shopping. I've never been one to like to 'window shop'. I like to shop if it's for a special occasion...a gift for someone, clothes for a vacation, etc. BUT not to just go out and look around...looking for something to buy. UNLESS it's a much needed day out with my sis....she likes to shop. ;o) Anything that she and I do together is fun. :o)
5-I like to eat canned spinach right out of the can.
6- I love the way paint, gasoline and markers smell.

I bet you had lots of fun with your granddaughter. Don't worry about getting "caught up" with us....just jump in and start posting....we won't pout if you miss some of our "stuff" every now and then. It happens to us all.

Rob~You think so???? Well, I only listed the mildly odd things about me. There are MUCH stranger things about me than these. I didn't want to scare my connections off...you know. ;o)
There's nothing better than canned spinach. I like a dash of Balsamic vinegar in the can. Careful with the markers, they can leave black dots on your nose.
I like balsamic vinegar too but usually just eat it straight. LOL So that's what is on my nose! I thought it was strange that I was getting little black moles all around my nostrils. LOL
Di~No worries there....I never "huff" and drive. If I'm going to "huff" I make sure to have a designated driver lined up. LOL
Hate shopping, too. Unless it's at a home improvement store or gardening supplies.

Yard work is good...especially when my husband is working outside with me and there's lot's of iced tea.
I go with the flow, too...but don't mind bobbing up above the crowd now and then. I enjoy being in leadership, though I wonder sometimes if that is really my gift.

I like to be late sometimes, only when there is a gain...Humm! Now, I`ve learnt a bit more about you from others and others from you.
I like the way you are, the garden subject matches with me, some of my guessing points regarding your nature were close to your reality.
