Hey there everybody, and welcome to my gather.com profile.
I am honoured to be a featured artist on gather.com and I am so excited to share with you the news of my upcoming self-titled debut cd, ‘MiG’ scheduled for release in US and Canada on 10 April, 2007. This is the realisation of a life-long ambition and I am so proud to present this cd as my debut effort. It is a mixture of classic rock songs, from Rolling Stones to Pearl Jam, and original material, some arranged and produced with full orchestras. I have collaborated with such legends as Peter Frampton, Paul Buckmaster, Matthew Wilder and Rob Mathes, and recorded the album at Abbey Road Studios in London, Capitol Records in Los Angeles and vocal sessions in New York City and Malibu, California. I hope you can indulge yourself and bathe in its symphonic lather.
This roller-coaster ride for me started when I left playing the lead in Queen’s WE WILL ROCK YOU in London, and joined the hopeful finalists on the CBS TV show, ROCKSTAR:INXS. I may not have won the competition, but coming in third brought me to the attention of Decca Records. I made the move from London to Los Angeles, and since then my life has been filled with recording and writing sessions and touring schedules. I have just finished a mini tour for the Hard Rock Café charity MUSIC RISING, and we are planning a national tour for later on this year.
I miss the every day routine of theatre, and the promise that for eight times a week, you get the gratification of performing in front of large appreciative audiences. Touring has somehow allowed me to re-live that buzz and gives me the chance to see incredible new cities, meet amazing people and make my dream of brining my music to the people a reality. I am loving this whole process and can’t wait to tour again.
I hope that with the launch of my debut cd, I will get the opportunity to not only to do more touring but to continue to write and record more music. It’s been a long and winding road from trying to make it as a recording artist in Sydney, Australia to where I am now, but I feel I have just begun, as there is just so much to do!

Everyone I've turned on to listening to the snippets of your CD on Amazon comes away in awe, because of the beauty of the recording. Your voice and the orchestra are magnificent.
As for the craziness, it may be difficult to get used to, but I know you appreciate the people who come to see and listen to you. I pray that they will respect you as much as you respect them and that your serenity remains intact. Enjoy the ride!

Great profile write-up! Congratulations on finishing your "March on Stage" for Music Rising Hard Rock Cafe tour! I'm looking forward to the announcement of your national tour dates...don't forget Seattle!!! Can't wait for April 10, 2007 and the release of your debut album!
