Thanks to everyone who has joined my new group and agreed to participate in a photo make-over. In order to be fair, I will be choosing from a wide array of subject matters and technical ability. There didn't seem to be a way to post the "before" next to the "after". Seeing them side by side for comparison was my original objective so what I will do with some of the make-overs is create and post the "Before and "After" in a photo collage (as featured in this article). I will also post the "after" strictly to Your favorite Pics" so the photographer can copy and re-post the makeover. It is theirs to do with what they like. Please check the group's content to see other makeovers.
My approach to photo enhancement is about bringing out what I see is the best part of the photo. I am not a professional photographer but I am a professional designer and artist. You may or may not agree with my choices but that's part of the fun. Every week I will do as many makeovers as I can. Obviously I can't do everyone's or I wouldn't get any sleep ;-). Unfortunately, some photos haven't downloaded properly into my software or are simply too pixelated to work with but keep posting your photos regardless. I love to see and be inspired by them.
This week's featured photographer is Nanina. She has some gorgeous photos from the Southwest including the first one of a cougar
. The second one is a beautiful shot of a desert flower. It didn't need much enhancing. I sharpened it a bit and brought in some more light to show off the stunning color. What do you think?

Your Favorite Pics.
One thing you can do to actually add the pictures into the article itself so people won't have to click on the pictures is to click on "edit" on your article, then you can actually insert the pictures by making the larger. I think the link says "large size" or something like that. Then you can click them and drag them into your article.
Makes for a neat display of them. Keep this up, it's a lot of fun for me to see these!
Thanks Lora!
Lol, Matthew!
Hope to see your pics there, Jeff.
