Bath Melts
Ingredients:
8 T. Rice Bran, Apricot Kernel Oil or Meadowfoam Seed Oil (or a blend of them all)
2 T. Mango Butter
6 T. Beeswax, Natural Yellow
3 T. Sweet Almond Oil
3 T. Cocoa Butter (deodorized, or if you want the bit of chocolate scent, use the natural undeodorized Cocoa Butter)
.5% preservative, if using LiquiPar Optima
Essential oils to scent, if you'd like. Suggested oils or blends of them will be at the end.
How To:
Put the Beeswax in a double-boiler as this takes the longest to melt. After it's melted, add the rest of the ingredients and melt those in, stirring as they melt. Once melted, add your essential oils, if you want the scent. Stir and remove from heat. Pour into molds and let set. Dump from molds and wrap individually with plastic wrap - use one or two when you take your bath, for nice soft skin.
Suggestions for molds - A guest-sized Milky Way (TM) Brand mold, or for an inexpensive way to mold your melts, use one-two ice cube trays. You can find some that come in different shapes, like the party-type in many stores for a low price.
Essential oils (Don't use a lot as you don't need lots, just add them till you like the scent but it's not in anyways, overpowering. You'll be surrounded by it in the tub, so keep it light.)
Add a few drops of these till you like the scent and after you take your bath with them, if you really like the scent, you can always make a perfume or lotion bar for a set.
Lavender and Chamomile (german), with a little bit of Jasmine and Rose is romantic, relaxing and sensual.
Jasmine by itself or Rose Absolute by itself are always nice as well.
Patchouli, with a little bit of Ylang-Ylang II, and a little Tangerine or Sweet Orange.
Half Spearmint and half Lemon (what my husband calls Fresh Scent)
Sandalwood
Tangerine and Vanilla
Pink Grapefruit with a touch of Ylang-Ylang
Lime
These are just "suggestions" and if you're using undeodorized Cocoa Butter, you might not want anything, other than the feel of the Melts and the slight chocolate scent. Enjoy - Questions? ASK!
Benefits: Soft skin, helps flaking of skin and over-drying due to dry heat in the home or other factors.

Do you find these type things in the pharmacy or Walmart or where?
Sounds like nice recipes.
Doesn't all the cocoa butter and oil and wax and stuff create a tub ring you can never get off?
