No Do-Overs

I believe we had some discussion about this before and there were various opinions.  I just heard the story on the news of the little boy (Georgia, I believe) who was assaulted, raped and killed by the neighbor sex offender and his family.

The police said this was one of the worst cases they had seen and I will not even go into some of the things they say were done to this sweet innocent child.  I think once you are a sex offender, you should be in for life, no do-overs on this.  There have been too many cases of repeat offenders.  I do not believe they can be rehabilitated.  Why not let them all live together and hurt one another if that is what it takes.  Let's get them off the streets.

And his whole family were involved, how sick is that.  They even told the little boy not to go near him because they saw how he looked at the boy and also other children.  I am not sure how he got him, I missed the beginning but this makes me just so sick and to find out they had him and let him go.  Want to hear the kicker, he served no time for his other crime, the judge let him out on probation for his first sexual offense.  Something very wrong here.
