Ode To O. Possum Roadkill
A Short Poem
Oh possum, oh possum, I hardly knew ye;
You'd hang by your tail from the limb of a tree,
And just now, I was wondering where you were at,
And realized I'd just driven over you, flat.
Eatin' Possum
Possum can be gamey;
Possum can be tough.
Possum's only good for eatin' when you've got it rough.
I hope to never find out;
I hope there's not a day
When I see one and then decide it'd make a good fillet.
