Life comes in "3's" for me. It always takes 3 BAD THINGS to equal 1 GOOD THING! These past 2 weeks have been no exception. My family has had the splendiferious (word?) joy of losing my Dad's car to a blown head gasket, which consequentially resulted in us not being able to go to an out-of-state convention, and during all of this 2 different paychecks of amounts over $100 failed to show for 2 different reasons.
As bad as that sounds, I've actually had worse weeks, so I'm sitting here, humbly grateful, in all my misery.
Now, to make a long story short, (too late) my one good thing happened last week.
I'm signed.
Sealed.
And officially receiving gigs.
Yep, I'm no longer a part of the freelance world. I've been signed by Stage2000 for their promotional modeling division.
And it only took me 3 yrs....a missed convention....$300 invisible dollars....and the large metal paper weight that now resides in our driveway.
Yep, I <3 my life.
