How the game is played -- when you are tagged, you are to post 6 weird things about yourself, and then tag 6 more people. I've been tagged by Lydia, so here's my 6 things:
- I have been scheming for months to find a way to persuade my mother to give me her gumdrop cake recipe. This cake is AMAZING. My siblings and I have often asked Mom for the recipe, and she always smiles and changes the subject. Not this time, Mom. That recipe is mine.
- I believe popcorn should have its own food group and should be a necessary part of my daily nutrition.
- I am allergic to mangoes.
- My son and I like to dance with our dog in a circle around our coffee table, chanting "Dance with the puppy! Dance with the puppy!" The puppy, who is 8 years old, does not appreciate it.
- I would make a horrible witness. When asked to describe a car, the most I can offer is "red".
- When I first moved to New York, I had to sing (under my breath) "New York New York, it's a wonderful town, the Bronx is up and the Battery down" before I got on the subway to make sure I was going the right direction. I still took the train the wrong direction far too many times to count.
