The submission period for the Gather.com Travel Photo Contest has ended. We received a great response with over 2,000 photos submitted!  Your photos inspired us to travel the world and capture its many wonders.  Thank you to all who entered.

Please make sure to check back on Monday, March 26 when we will announce the 20 finalists in US and International photos

You can then vote for the Grand Prize Winner in each category Monday, March 26 - Saturday, March 31.

WOW! Good luck with whittling it down to 20 in each category, there are some really amazing photos in that contest!

All the best of luck to all who entered the contest. I saw some amazing photographs and look forward to seeing the winning pictures. It surely must be hard for the judges to decide but that's the fun of entering contests - it's like buying a lottery ticket - kinda exciting! Salud.
