Police Called Again!!

Well, we had to call the police again today. It really didn't help because he just kind of blew it off. I am now having to take so many meds to calm my nerves, you wouldn't believe.

I don't know what to do anymore. The lawyer we spoke with ( who is not charging us for most of this work, thank gosh) said that he would look into all the evidence and then start with writing a letter to the head of the company. He said witha lawyers name on top of the letter, sometimes that makes a difference.

He also said that if they tried to evict us for some reason, that would be a big lawsuit because it would be called retalitory eviction. Which is highly ilegal. I just don't know what to do any more, because we can't afford to move , since like I said the hubby and I are both on disability.

Any more ideas?

What I would do would all depend on the situation. What is the feud concerning? What other steps have already been taken?

If you want to know the whole neighbor story, I have posted it in 2 or 3 other articles that I have written. It is such a long story, that it would take a while to re tell everything.

I say take a baseball bat and whack him in the head. That should get his attention. The maybe he'll listen you when you complain about whatever it is he's doing.

I am not a lawyer but I was in management of a Hud subsidized housing complex.I read back through your articles and you were given some good advice. I would like to know why, this manager is not more involved in these apartments, The manager and ,I was the Asst. Manager, would walk our complex in disguise at times, all hours of the night to try and keep up with the problems that would arise. We had 7 acres and 110 units to keep up with. We did document any and all suspicious activity, we took pictures, we worked closely with the law, etc. But first, you have to have policeman who will work with you,and help you. In our lease it stated, everyone had a right to peace and quiet time, it also, stated you are responsible for your guest, you do not litter on the property, all noise was to go down by 10.00. etc. It sounds as if this landlord , is only there to collect a paycheck, if you are having problems with these neighbors, and it is causing duress and/or medical problems , I would sue, but I would first try to contact the managers boss. Everyone has a boss unless the manager owns the property, Another question is this in the City or County. In our city limits the laws are more stricter, we were in the county and the cops told us some things to add to our lease so we would have more power in dealing with these rowdys.
