Hello Gather Friends,
It seems I haven't been on here forever but it has just been since last Thursday morning. My Mother had a horrible night. No one could sleep as the noise she was making sounded like a death rattle. This was the day we were taking her back to the oncologist to get the final results of the biopsy they sent off for further testing. There was no way she would be making that appointment. I ended up calling 911. The 1st time I ever had to call on them.
My Mom's bedroom is on the 2nd floor and she has a long cord on her oxygen machine to reach. Well evidently she was NOT getting any oxygen. This was the reason she kept going into congestive heart failure. Thank God the medic saw this with his own eyes and we figured it out. If not they would have got her well again and sent her home and the same thing would happen when her oxygen dropped ; (
Needless to say they brought her another big machine to keep in her room.
The cancer Dr says he wants to start her on Chemo asap. They are saying now there is a 80 percent chance of catching it. ( The cancer )
First they said it was terminal now they say this. It makes you wonder. Her faith is strong so we just keep praying. My main concern is she is to weak and frail for chemo.
Her chemo starts Monday morning at 930 am for three days in a row. So please say a prayer she can take it and that it doesn't make her to sick.
Her modem died here at her house and we just got it and hooked it up so hopefully I will be on alittle more. I never realized how much I used Gather to unwind but I sure have missed it and all of you of course.
Thank you again to ALL OF YOU who sent cards. They are sure making her smile and she has a wall full of them ; )
I will try to keep you better posted now that I am back up and running. Please bear with me as I have over 500 regular emails and 78 Gather emails to sort out.

What a thing to go through, with the oxygen machine not working! Our prayers will be with you both.
