The sound of autumn

Out of the depths

Of happiness, the autumn

Zephyr blows

How graceful

Is your gentle flight

Behold the

Beautiful - here in the Northern Hemisphere we are watching nature don her annual coat of finery, and there you are watching her release it. Nice reminder about the cycles that we all flow through.

I liked how you repeated the word 'autumn' in three of the verses... taking us on a journey from the 'maiden flight' to the 'naked trees'.

What a perfect example of Hiaku Lawrence. I'm new to this form of verse, and have enjoyed playing some of J. "Marsupossum Indignatia" G☼lden's haiku/poem three-word poem challenges. Yours perfectly encapsulates the "nature" theme of haikus however. Kudos!

October is my favorite month and you have captured her soul. Each haiku is unique and can stand alone, but together they make such a strong statement for the beauty and awe found in nature.
