This wonderful tree has provided us with peaches for many years. Last year was the first time the tree withheld its usual bounty. It is old and perhaps past its glory.
I am grateful for the beauty of these blossoms and the for possibility of a luscious peach in the summer.

I think even the plume of your icon is peach, even perhaps the lips. It doesn't surprise me a bit that you would cotton to a dish of peaches and cream to break your fast. What with such a generous tree. I love that the same sun which is coaxong the blossoms out is glossing the branch bark with a silver sheen.
