Some schools take them to use for different crafts and such! And even some daycare centers! Or womens' shelters!

You can always leave them at the doctor, dentist or eye doctor waiting room...wherever people have to sit and wait.

I give them to Dr.s offices......elderly folks homes....or my hair dressers waiting area.

another suggestion,
I belong to my local freecycle.org group.
If you join, you can find someone to give them away to easily.
Magazines go all the time.
It might help you and your husband out too.
