Very early during my pregnancy, I had a feeling that I was carrying a very lucky baby. It seemed that the rain always came right after I got into the house. I had quite a few close calls with some stupid drivers on the road but I never got into an accident. My uncle's car lost the brakes when we were 2 miles away from his house, but we managed to drive home safely. I slipped and fell down the stairs from my raised front door to the driveway, and I didn't hurt the baby.
After Kyleigh was born, she was starving for days. The lactation consultant kept telling me I was doing fine breastfeeding her, while in fact I didn't have any milk. Yet, she still survived. When I think back, I still feel chills. I just couldn't believe how strong she was fighting for her life.
The other day I saw this cute little outfit at Gymboree. It says "Lucky" on the front. I immediately picked it up for Kyleigh. That's a perfect outfit for her, because she is indeed my lucky baby.

Most lucky babies are that way because they have a caring and watchful mom and dad, and in this case you are the one providing 95% of the watching while dad is working his hardest to provide for her the way he can right now.
You seem like a lovely family, and I think you are all lucky to have each other.
