Quad D'ib

fileId:3096224744061560;size:full; A few years ago, our son and his wife bought their first quad runner. As a joke, I made up this design for him and put it on a T-shirt for him to wear when they went to Dumont Dunes.

He thought it was hilarious, and knew I put a lot of work into it. He and I have running jokes about stuff, and the Dune books are some of his favorites. So, the Dune story worked in well with Dumont Dunes and Quad D'ib. The picture is a real picture of Dumont Dunes, and the other stuff I nabbed online here and there.

Yes, I DO have a strange sense of humor.

I haven't read the books but I loved the extended version of the movie Dune.

I got the reference to Quad D'ib. I have had several friends tell me how much better and different the books are to the different versions of the movies.

Rob, the main character was Maud D'ib. (pronounced MAW DEEB). I just changed the name to Quad D'ib...now you get it?

I believe the books are much better than the movies, but I did like the original one with Patrick Stewart, etc., best. Maybe just because it was first. Now and then, I like to use my 'weirding ways' too. LOL Oh, and the "voice". Ha!
