"you have small dreams", she said, many years ago.

But such a big heart, with room for two!, was my reply.

Small dreams sometimes don't wound as bad as the big ones,
though being more achievable regrets often linger longer if they are interrupted.

Big dreams are easier, they say 'well, he bit off more than he could chew', or 'it's not surprising that he didn't get that far'...

Small dreams, when known by others, that don't work out are more likely to be seen as failures.

But dreamers dream, and want, and need, and love, no matter what size the dream.

and dreams neglected all feel the same.
