I was somewhat disappointed in how little guesses I got on my ultrasound picture. But I suppose it is time to reveal the truth.
I will be pulling boxes of clothes out of storage after 5 years of packing them away. Yes, my daugther is thrilled to be waiting for her baby sister!!!!! And of course, the rest of us are as well!
This little lady is very active. She was during the ultrasound. Waving her hand at me, grabbing her toes and opening her mouth. She twists and turns and kicks and punches and one and two and three and four...
My belly is round like a bowl full of jelly; it wiggles and jiggles of its own accord.
During the ultrasound the tech noticed a cyst on her brain (the baby's) and wants to check it again after 6 weeks - usually it disappears by then, but if not, it could be sign of birth defects of some sort. I am not overly concerned as this has been found on two of my others and came to nothing, but I will keep you updated. Everything else looked perfect (organs functioning, all fingers and toes, etc.).
I go back the beginning of April for the second sonogram. If I can get another picture of my beautiful baby girl, I will publish it. Otherwise, you may be stuck with a "profile" of my belly!

You and your new one will be held in prayer for the cyst!
Keep us posted on the baby....you have a lot of "cyber" aunts and uncles here who want to know all the scoop! :-D
a "10" for the fabulous news!!!
I had an amniocenteisis for both my pregnancies and that is how I was certain my daughter was a girl. Back then, people asked, "How do you know it was a girl? Was it an ultrasound only?" I said, "The amnio revealed it was a girl."
May your daughter be as delightful as mine as, now nearly 17 years old.
Congrats, Tab!
I was told there was gonna be pictures ... coffee too ...
Congrats Tab.
Mr. Bill, the pic is found here.
