Two Word Challenge - Silver Sleigh

Little girl dreams

dolls and buggies and kittens

diamond rings, shiny things

knights in shining armor

Cinderella and a prince

One day even a silver sleigh.

Then in the wink of an eye it seems

Her hair is gray

The diamonds only glass

The shiny things faded away

No knights, no armor, no prince

And the silver sleigh only rusted tin.

This is an excellent little poem BlueFox,your use of the silver sleigh to express a life time,that is but a blink of the eye,was an very good response to the two word challenge,you are quite the poet.
