Food from Top Chef?

Has anyone out there ever made a recipe from Top Chef? I know that a lot of the recipes are posted on Bravotv.com, but I have never tried them and didn't know if anyone did and if so what was the out come?

Actually, I've made two dishes.
1. Cliff's and Sam's scallops from episode 5. They did an appetizer, and includes fois gras, which I left out. The scallops were yummy though, and I made them as a meal.
2. Elia's mushroom soup from the Thanksgiving episode, which was really good.

I want to make Sam's fruit salad from the fire station episode, but I haven't gotten to it yet.

It's important to remember that these are competitions, and they have time restraints, so sometimes what doesn't work for them could be a great recipe. An example was Elia's romantic dessert, which got criticized for not having the chocolate heart. In real life, you would take the time to do that right, or just leave it off. It doesn't mean the recipe isn't great.
