I’m not a good story teller, and even tho this is a true story the irony of it all is almost overwhelming.
In the 2001 or 2 time frame I called the FBI and told them of some cocaine activity which I knew about up in a restaurant around here. And because it’s a small town up here where it all happened I wont say what town it happened in either.
But I told the FBI that a friend of my kid walked into the office of this restaurant when it was closed, but the door was open as he was friends of some of them he just walked in. He walked into the office upstairs and saw that they were cutting coke on a table in the office. He was bodily picked up by two of the bouncers of the restaurant and carried down to the front door where they used his head to open the front door like a battering ram and tossed him out into the parking lot.
At this time my kid was working for a landscaping company and the owner of that company did around $20,000 worth of work for the restaurant. Every check he got from them bounced. Therefore, he went there to eat often once or twice a week and he didn’t pay the bill. There were a few times that the waitress or cashier didn’t like that so they went to the manager who went to the owner, and he always said it was on the house.
So the activity was going on and I saw that the owner of the restaurant went bankrupt and was thrown in jail for some thing, but no one really seemed to know why he was thrown in jail, but he was. Yesterday my kid made an offer to buy a house that was listed around $300,000 that happened to be two blocks from that restaurant. The previous owner was an FBI analyst who had moved out and the house was vacant.
