A wise man once said....... “Never try to teach a pig to sing. It just wastes your time and annoys the pig.” However the only way we have to separate the 'pigs' from the 'sopranos' is to try to teach them each to sing and see who makes it. As inefficient and frustrating as that may be (to teacher and student alike), all other methods of trying to separate them have proven time and time again to miss a lot of 'sopranos' and those are rare enough that we can not really afford to lose any.
