At the end the rainbow came
as i was putting into words
how i felt
roses daisies
the rain was leaving a trail
of spring shower hope
like the time when we were wed
and snow fell rather than rice
in April.
Then the rainbow appeared
and i took in all the colors
one by one
like a small child
taking out the colors
from a newly bought box
the violet at the end
and all the colors
represented how i felt
mixed yet organized
like stripes
with a clear scientific explanation
yet the feeling was
this must be a sign
