This site has been on my list for years. I check it each morning.

APOD is an acronym for Astronomy Picture Of the Day. Sometimes the pictures are amazing, sometimes they are topical, and they are always interesting. At the bottom of the page there is a link for the archives and the calendar to see pictures from prior days.

That would be a good page to have as an opening page for the browser. I love astronomy photos.

I've been checking in at the site regularly for years. Unfortunately, my hard drive is so full of APOD pictures that I hardly have room for anything else. Fortunately, the pics are fantastic and I would never dream of deleting them. Unfortunately, there are more pics I want to download but don't have room for. Fortunately, I have a scheme to get a much bigger hard drive! :-)
