Relaxing

Step off the plane or the ship onto this small 10 mile wide, 28 mile long island and you will feel the warm breeze envelope you, see the blue waters meet the white sands and be welcomed by the endearing local people.  This is our favorite places to travel to. 

We have traveled by plane and ship to Cozumel, always having a great, relaxing vacation.  There are many wonderful beaches to enjoy as well as great shopping, restaurants and bars. 

Cozumel was hit hard by hurricane Wilma and the local people have all worked together to rebuild very quickly.  They deserve our return.  Let's hear about your great adventures and favorite places on the island so we can all plan a trip to Cozy Cozumel.

We're about to head off to Cozumel for the first time. We're very interested in taking a day sail to go snorkeling, any particular groups you can recommend? Also any specific restaraunts or shopping spots you can recommed would be great.

Amy, Last time we were in Cozumel we rented a jeep and drove around the island stopping at beaches and at Coconuts. Coconuts is located on the east side of the island in a beautiful location. The island is pretty much flat but Coconuts is up on a cliff and you can sit at tables over looking the water. Absolutely gorgeous! It's an open air bar/restaurant with great food. I had seafood quesadillas that were wonderful. We were there mid-afternoon but it looks like it can get to be a fun place too when more people are there. Try for a table on the edge of the cliff.
